Dr. Barbara Marie Modic, age 62, of Columbiana, passed away peacefully at her home on Wednesday, September 2, 2015 following a long illness.

She practiced medicine for many years from her office at 25 N. Canfield-Niles Road in Austintown, Ohio. Dr Modic retired in 2014.
She left the following message for her patients:
“It has been a pleasure caring for you as your physician. I thank you for your trust and the loyalty that you have shown towards me and my office staff all these years. It is with mixed emotions that I am announcing the closing of my medical practice. It has been a great pleasure providing for your health care needs over the years”
